partners Chef Massimo Capra & Restaurateur Paolo Paolini designed a venue with private parties in mind; Sopra Upper Lounge! 

Suitable to cater to all groups of 15-140 people, we offer a complete and 100% unique experience to each new event we host in our venue.

Sopra Upper Lounge can accommodate up to 70 people seated in our main room, and up to approximately 100 guests for a cocktail-style party.  

Thanks to our fantastic Executive Chef Massimo Capra we can offer you our Samsung LCD screen top-of-the-line televisions to play a photo reel during your birthday celebration, or run a corporate presentation.  

With state of the art audio and a focus on sound quality as opposed to loudness, we have stunning acoustics in our venue for every type of musical performance from a classical pianist to a House music DJ.  

Our Steinway B-class Baby Grand Piano & DJ equipment is always available to our guests, as are the rolodex of talented musicians who have played at this venue in the past.  

Each group that books at Sopra Upper Lounge will be offered a wide variety of table layout options, to suit your preferred set up.

We pride ourselves on personalizing your event and regularly do menu consultations, give Wine recommendations, and assist you in designing your ideal meeting/party/or dinner with close attention to detail.  

Although the food will speak for itself, a few words are necessary, please enjoy these recent reviews; 
Yelp 2013 - This place was amazing. I was taken here for an occassion, either my birthday or valentines day. The food is amazing.
I had the cornish hen. It is a very upscale restaurant /lounge which is above Mitsura. The decor is fabulous, the space is intimate, we listened to live music while we had bottles of champagne on ice, it was beautiful.
Later on it becomes kind of a party atmosphere. This is a mid 30's to 40's range, but classy, clean, stylish place.

Urban Spoon November 2012 - Another year and another firm dinner hosted by Sopra. Excellence continues. So nice to know that some things remain the same. A quality experience.

Yum! 2012 - Was here for a special event but ordered the beet risotto which is on the regular menu - it was absolutely delicious!
A deep red colour and so flavourful. Also on the menu was a prosciutto wrapped chicken which was ordered by my boyfriend - it was amazing. They did a great job with the event and the space looked beautiful; very classy. Will definitely be back to try the usual menu - looking forward to it!
